  • What is Paramol?

Paramol is a pain relief medication containing dihydrocodeine and paracetamol. It is used for the treatment of moderate to severe pain, including headaches, migraines, toothaches, and menstrual pain.

    What is Paramol used for?

Paramol is commonly used to relieve pain that cannot be managed by standard painkillers alone. It is particularly effective for conditions such as dental pain, muscle pain, and arthritis.

    How does Paramol work?

Paramol works by combining two active ingredients: dihydrocodeine, an opioid analgesic that reduces the perception of pain in the brain, and paracetamol, which inhibits the production of prostaglandins that cause pain and inflammation.

  • How to Take Paramol:

Adults and children over 12 years: Take one or two tablets every four to six hours as needed for pain relief. Do not exceed eight tablets in 24 hours.
The tablets should be swallowed whole with water.
Do not use for more than three days without consulting a doctor.

    Important Information:

Do not take Paramol if you are allergic to dihydrocodeine, paracetamol, or any other ingredients in the product.
