  • What is Nurofen 200mg?
    Nurofen 200mg Tablets contain ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that relieves pain, reduces inflammation, and lowers fever. These tablets are widely used to manage mild to moderate pain, including headaches, migraines, toothache, period pain, and muscle discomfort.

    How does Nurofen 200mg work?
    Ibuprofen works by blocking the production of prostaglandins, substances in the body that cause inflammation and pain. By inhibiting the enzymes responsible for prostaglandin synthesis, ibuprofen reduces swelling, alleviates discomfort, and lowers fever.

     

    • Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1-2 tablets with water up to three times daily.
    • Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours.
    • Always take the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary.
    • Consult your pharmacist or GP if symptoms persist for more than three days.
